FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino revealed new details on Thursday relating to the death of convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

During an appearance on Fox & Friends, Bongino said the Epstein case is “obviously of significant public interest” and explained what he has seen in the FBI’s file on the infamous child abuser.

“I just want to be crystal clear on this: I am not asking anyone to believe me. I’m telling you what’s there and what isn’t. There is nothing in the file at this point, on the Epstein case, and there’s going to be a disclosure on this coming shortly,” Bongino said. “There is video. That is something the public does not know.”

Bongino explained that the video does not show “the actual act” of Epstein killing himself; however, it does show that Epstein was alone in his cell.

“The entire MCC bay, there was only one camera. There’s video, that when you look at the video … you’re going to see there’s no one there but him,” the deputy director added. “There’s just nobody there. So I say to people all the time: if you have a tip, let us know. But there’s no DNA, there’s no audio, there’s no fingerprints, there’s no suspects, there’s no accomplices, there’s no tips, there is nothing. If you have it, I’m happy to see it.”

“There’s video clear as day: he’s the only person in there and the only person coming out,” he added.

The FBI is preparing to release the original video, Bongino said, but officials are also “working on cleaning it up” to give the public an “enhanced” version.

Social media erupted over the shocking news, with many questioning why the FBI withheld the video until now.

“We were told there wasn't any video because the cameras were off. Now magically, we have video?  The lies told to cover up this story keep going and going and going, crazy,” one self-described Marine Corps veteran posted on X.

A 2019 Washington Post report stated that one camera near Epstein’s cell captured unusable footage, but another recorded clear video, according to three sources familiar with the evidence.
