Shocking display on White House lawn stuns Democrats
The White House lawn got a major makeover on Monday as President Donald Trump’s administration lined the driveway with 100 posters featuring illegal immigrants’ mugshots and their crimes.
White House Press Secretary Karolina Leavitt shared a video of the powerful scene on X, writing, “Good Morning from The White House!”
The posters highlighted the now-deported illegal immigrants’ heinous crimes, including “rape and sodomy of a child,” “assault with a gun and rape,” “fentanyl distribution,” “murder,” and “child sexual abuse.”
The White House also shared its own haunting image of the posters.
“We will hunt you down. You will face justice,” the White House wrote on X. “You will be deported — and you will never set foot on American soil again. Oh, and your mugshot may just end up on a yard sign at the White House.”
Since Trump took office just 100 days ago, the Department of Homeland Security has deported more than 135,000 illegal immigrants, daily border encounters are down by 93%, and migrant crossings are down by 99.99%.
The top threat to public safety - encounters with gotaways - are down by 95%, according to DHS.
Trump’s historic achievements in tackling the Democrats’ illegal immigrant crisis include thousands of arrests and deportations.
“In the first 100 days of the Trump Administration, we have arrested over 151,000 illegal aliens and have deported over 135,000. This includes 600 members of Tren De Aragua who have been arrested or deported, as well as thousands of MS-13 and 18th Street Gang members who have fled the country,” the DHS said in a statement. “These numbers have already surpassed the entirety of Fiscal Year 2024, and we’re just 100 days into this administration.”
Homeland Security said Operation Tidal Wave - which led to the apprehension of 780 illegal immigrants in four days - is just a “preview” of the “large scale operations that employ our state and local law enforcement partners to get criminal illegal aliens off our streets.”
