MAHA Moms Win! RFK Jr Bans Artificial Dyes in Our Foods
MAHA Moms, our Red 40 and Yellow 5 nightmare may finally be coming to an end. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is expected to announce a plan on Tuesday evening to phase out artificial dyes from America’s food supply.
This is breaking news that will be updated as more information becomes available. Keep reading below.
Current FDA regulations allow eight synthetic dyes to be added to America’s food. A shocking 36,000 food products in the United States contain Red 40 alone, according to the Center for Science in Public Interest.
Common foods that contain artificial food dyes include:
M&M’s
Gatorade
SunnyD
Powerade
Kool-Aid
Skittles
Arby’s Brioche Bun
Vlasic Sweet Relish
Kellogg’s Froot Loops
General Mills Trix
MAHA moms know how common harmful food dyes are. Hell, we’ve all scanned food labels hoping for the best, only to be disappointed by the inevitable “Red 3” appearance.
Artificial food dyes, which include Blue 1, Blue 2, Green 3, Red 3, Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6, have been linked to hyperactivity, inattention, and even cancer.
Gambling with our kids’ health isn’t something we’re willing to do and I’m grateful that our leadership is finally taking this issue seriously.
Although the war against our poisonous food supply is only just beginning, take heart, we’re making great progress thanks to the Trump administration. The men and women we elected to Make America Healthy Again are keeping their promise and I’m looking forward to raising my children in a healthier nation.
